This roundtable will look at the state of the private equity markets and discuss how to parse the many options to make the best investments. From early stage venture, to small-market buyouts, to strong domestic markets and beyond, we’ll review the real opportunities behind the hype.


Speaker Bio
John Clark is a Managing Director of Performance Equity and a member of its Investment Committee. Prior to joining Performance Equity, Mr. Clark was a Portfolio Manager in the General Motors Investment Management (GMIMCo) Private Equity Group and a member of the PEIAC. Prior to joining General Motors Investment Management in 1998, Mr. Clark managed private equity and debt investments for MetLife for almost ten years. As a Director of MetLife's private equity group, he managed certain direct and majority-owned equity investments, as well as domestic fund sponsor relationships. Prior to this, he was a Senior Accountant at KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Clark is a member of the CFA Institute. He received his undergraduate degree and his MBA from Brigham Young University.
